Action Claims Administrators: Action Claims 101

Action Claims Administrators wants to welcome you to our blog!

Before we get started getting into topics related to our field, we thought we might give you an “Action Claims 101” blog, because you may be wondering, “Just what exactly are Action Claims?” or “What is a Third Party Administrator?”

 

Well, to get started—Action Claims Service is actually four companies under one umbrella: Action Claims Service, Action Claims Administrators, Action Catastrophe Service and Action Tribal Administrators.

 

Basically, major insurance companies come to us to outsource their claims that need adjusting. The insurance company is the client that hires us, and then our adjusters go out into the field to access and adjust claims whether it be property, casualty, auto claims and more.

 

Action Claim Administrators is our third party administrators division. We handle workers comp issues, risk management and helping clients to become self-insured. Action Tribal is a third party administrator for Tribal Nations. Action Catastrophe focuses on major disasters, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. If a catastrophe hits we are hired by these insurance companies to handle big claims creating by the catastrophe and to adjust and close out these insurance claims in a timely manner.

 

Part of why we are hired by insurance companies is because we want to give the most personalized service to our customers. We are local to the clients that we help, and in this way we can deliver excellent customer service, rather than a client calling someone who is in a different city or state.

 

And, we at Action Claims recruit two types of individuals to join our team—experienced professionals with verifiable successful histories and people who are willing to be trained properly and are career-oriented. We treat our employees right, and as a result we have very little turnover, a common problem with many other TPAs. In this way, you are getting even better service with us, because we have long-time experienced staff members who care about and get to know their clients. Along those lines, we know that all of our clients have individual needs and we treat them accordingly. We like to meet our clients where they are. No two clients are exactly the same, so programs need to differ to offer each client the maximum opportunity for high level success.
